We’ve suffered the attentions of some spammers recently, so I have enabled CAPTCHA service from Mollom. This works by analysing your posts to see whether it looks definitely spammy, definitely not spammy, or unable to decide—and only shows the CAPTCHA if it can’t decide. This will, I hope, reduce the annoyance factor of having CAPTCHAs added to the side. We’ll see how it goes.

If you didn't make it to the weekend event and missed out on the t-shirts, we still have shirts available from CAPTION2009. With artwork by Terry Wiley, the shirts are available in a kiwi green shirt with green printing, or a black shirt with green printing.

There is a bar at the venue, which will be open from 12 noon on each day.

The venue does not sell food, but there a wide range of restaurants and take-aways, to suit all tastes and purses, on Cowley Road.

CAPTION 2009 will once again be at the East Oxford Community Centre, on the corner of Princes Street and Cowley Road in Oxford.

We want you to be free to join in panels and workshops, so instead of renting out individual tables we have the CAPTION table, run by CAPTION gofers. You can leave your minicomics on the table in the morning and in the evening collect the unsold copies and the money for the sold copies minus 10%.
