We like making comics
Join us at CAPTION for a weekend of comix-related workshops, panels, exhibitions, and other amusements. Relax in the bar and discussion areas. Buy comics from our very select collection of stallholders. Sell your own comics via the CAPTION table: leave them with us and we will sell them for you (for a 10% fee), leaving you free to join in the fun. Watch films at the local art cinema wth talks from DeZ Vylenz and Al Davison .

Where, when, how much
The East Oxford Community Centre is in Cowley Road, in the middle of exciting East Oxford. Cowley Road has Oxfordshire's biggest range of restaurants and take-aways, great pubs & clubs, and new pavements with addded 'Pavement Jewellery'.
For CAPTION we plan on having a room with a screen for slide shows, tables for stall-holders to sell comix, and a room for panels and workshops, and some outdoors tables for lounging about in. We are still working non what to do about the bar's having the builders in during early August.
The con opens at 10 in the morning of Saturday 5 August 2006 and closes the following Sunday afternoon.
Admission is £10 for the whole weekend, or £5 for one day.

This year CAPTION has a new committee and is looking for your ideas to add to the mix. The CAPTION-discuss mailing list is for everyone who wants to to discuss any aspect of the CAPTION convention.
